•  Works with landowners in priority areas as defined by limiting factor analyses as well as watershed and estuary assessments to discuss environmental problems and design solutions.

•  Develops, manages, and reports for multiple restoration project in various states of completion on approximately 1 million acres on the Central Oregon Coast.

North Oregon Coast Regional River Steward Coordinator, 2013-2016

• Promoted watershed based stewardship and organized conservation efforts between 12 volunteer river stewards ranging in location from the Necanicum River to the Siletz River.

Snorkel Surveyor, Bio-Surveys LLC, 2013-Present

• Continued long term monitoring in 30 miles of the Mary’s River tributaries, adding GIS referenced data to the Rapid Bio Assessment (RBA) sampling protocol, to support ongoing  multi-interest riparian restoration efforts.

• Established baseline salmonid abundance data on 8 miles of Brush Creek, using RBA protocol. These data will be used to assess the effectiveness of a Large Woody Debris project implemented by the Calapooia watershed council in September 2013.

•  Assisting with Workshops aimed at educating agencies and land managers about the importance of beavers as ecosystem engineers of salmon habitat.

• Coordinated landowner permission and installed beaver dam foundations and pond levelers designed to mitigate conflict and keep beavers on the landscape

• Analyzed sediment samples to enumerate macro invertebrate diversity and abundance.

• Participated in monitoring the effectiveness of the largest estuary restoration project on the Oregon Coast.
